Unique handcrafted gifts made by members of Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community are offered as they host their annual holiday show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.

Musical tribute to our vets on plaza at the Aquarium of the Smokies.

The magic of the holiday season comes to life when award winning designer DeWayne Kirchner’s Whimsical Elves enchant the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg for eight fanciful nights of live Winter Magic Tunes & Tales entertainment.

Nov 25 - 26:  “The Nutcracker Suite”
Presented by the Great Smoky Mountain Dance Theatre, enjoy this holiday classic presented in Gatlinburg, with performances at 7 p.m. in the W.L. Mills Auditorium. (GSE) Call (865) 680-7369 for information and reservations.

Dec 3 - 4:  "Christmas on Ice"
Enjoy the spirit of the season as local skaters display their talents on ice to the sounds of holiday music in a two-day performance at Ober Gatlinburg’s ice arena.

Dec 2:  Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade
Gatlinburg’s 34th annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4 including marching bands and giant helium balloons taking to the streets.

Dec 31:  New Years Eve Ball Drop & Fireworks
Join Gatlinburg's 22nd Annual fabulous fireworks show and street party on the Parkway.

Jan 29 - 30:  Tennessee Winter Special Olympics
Watch and cheer as Special Olympics athletes compete for the gold in their annual Winter Olympics day.  Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort

Nov 8 - February 26: Smoky Mountain Winterfest
Named “Top 20 Events” by the Southeast Tourism Society, this four-month celebration transforms Gatlinburg into a gorgeous winter wonderland. November through February.  Kickoff on Nov. 5 at Patriot Park.

Nov 5 - Dec 30: Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival

Jan 7 - 14:  22nd Annual Wilderness Wildlife Week
More than 200 experts and more than 200 seminars, lectures and hands-on workshops.  Free.  Music Road Convention Center.

Jan 14:  Regional Ice Carving Competition
One day only, they’re back! Those champion chainsaw slinging, blowtorch wielding, iceblock chopping sculptors who took Titanic Pigeon Forge by storm last year. In 2012 they’ll be joined by a new batch of professional and amateur contenders, ready to whip 250-pound blocks of ice into frozen works of art. Bring the family and your camera for this one-day ice spectacular.  Titanic Museum Attraction

Mar 14 - 17:  18th Annual Mountain Quiltfest
Come join quilters and crafters from across the nation for various quilting classes and seminars. If you're not taking a class, feel free to browse through the many vendor quilted items.

Nov 7 - Feb 28:  Smoky Mountain Winterfest 
Enjoy millions of twinkling lights throughout the Great Smoky Mountains area. 
Kick-off Nov. 7 - Free food, local entertainment, kids’ games and fireworks.  See it in 3D - pick up glasses at Visitors Center on Hwy. 66 while supplies last.

Dec 3:  49th Annual Christmas Parade
A traditional hometown parade with baton twirlers, pageant winners, marching bands and floats leading up to the appearance of the Grand Marshal – Santa Claus!  Begins at 11 a.m. and can best be viewed on Forks of the River Parkway and Court Avenue in historic downtown Sevierville.
